    To be fair it was gonna be a board change but it may be left as that. Will look back in tomorrow and determine it then. Other than the two lighting circuits not being covered by rcd there isn't any other reasons.

    Dado trunking lid cut to overlap and then sticks like ---- to hold it in place til tomorrow for board change.

    Scary thing is is that someone did an eicr back in 2014...and didnt catch it. The installer had stuck a nice nic eic approved sticker on it...so you know they we're clearly professional.

    Doing an eicr and came across this....just beggars belief that in 2005 when this was installed someone actually did this looked at it and went Yep Jobs a good 'un

    Scary thing was is that the installer didnt actually see what i was saying was wrong with his installation.

    This was what i came across in a new build a while back. In a loft...and poorly installed me thinks. I hate high cu's...I have to actually do work then....

    When it comes to new builds the height R which part m has it as is that the breakers need to be between 1350 and 1450...quite low really but anything is better than cieling height...especially when you come to do an eicr and some turd has made it a right birds nest and you have a crooked neck...

    I'd still like to know why the OP referred to a brown and red as a neutral and not having sleeving and lives as blue...surely it should be blue as a live say as in a switch without sleeving but still unsure as why a res or brown would need sleeving and why more theyd be a neutral

    using incorrect colours for example there is several instances of brown and red neutral wires with no sleeving, there was also a blue live wire. Do you mean they've used to red and brown as neutrals and blue as a live....or are you assuming that those are the relevant colours?
