    Wiring an outside light via a plug and cord would not be acceptable in Australia So I suggest that you check and see if it is legal over there too.

    If the ground is soft or is sand, And you have aready had problems with the scaffold tower in the sand, Then a scissor lift will not be much bettter, cause your foundations are not secure.

    The chances of coming across an asbestos board is low, They were only used 50+ years ago, So not many electricians see them, Yes I am in Australia, and have seen and worked on many boards of advanced years perhaps that is why I have seen them when many haven't.

    QUOTE - No it [ can ] take up to 50 years, but it will kill you eventually can being the operitive word ! Some old boards did have asbestose in them, if you have to work on one, then using common sense precautions is usually sufficent. such as a dust mask and a vacuum cleaner.

    If you have NOT yet blown a safety cut out, then you are probably good to go. Just the number of devices is NOT a good indicator of load. You have to look at load and duty cycle Duty cycle makes a HUGE differance.

    YES ! FOR SURE. 3 way switchs are wired differantly to normal switchs, and if you look at the circuit for a little while, you will understand why !

    I would guess you will need at least 50A. 30A will only work if you don't have heating or A / C. which tend to be power hungry.

    DITTO - In Australia the standard house service fuse is standard 80A. you can go to 100A if required. Beyond 100A require an upgraded line.
