Recently purchased EasyCert from Tysoft due to others recommending it on here - so far so good with no issues!
Very good technical support as well, usually respond within 30 mins via email.
Had a new shape Transit Connect SWB for around a year but traded it back in to get a Transit Custom SWB, found the Connect got full very quickly and couldn't get into a number of car parks with a roof rack and tube on top!
Haven't got bad word to say about the Custom and couldn't recommend one...
From what I can recall when I did my AM2 (few years ago) you only test up until the spur - could be very wrong though! Did you do the pre-AM2 day which they normally advise you on what to do as procedures at test centres can vary?
Hi Matt, went out to see a job today that looks an identical existing 6 way board that requires replacing. Can you remember if you went for a board with 273mm or 320mm centres...? I only measured the internal width of the cabinet itself which was 340mm thinking these boards are now obsolete!
Find the Tech LC perfect for me, all hand tools in the TP4 pouch for when I only need the basics. There's a lot of videos on YouTube with people showing off their bags and what's inside - should give you a clearer view.
Did mine a few months ago, we were told to look for things like -
Conduit - securely fixed - sight/touch
Conduit - damaged/corroded - sight
Conduit - suitable for purpose - sight
Conduit - incomplete/missing lids - sight
Coupler/Bush - secure - sight
Terminations - secure - sight/touch
I also pondered with the idea of getting one and eventually went for a Tech LC & TP4 which neatly clips on the side of the bag, wish I'd got it sooner! Fits everything I need plus more compared to my old CK bag.
I worked for a well established local (Surrey) fire & security security firm around 3 years ago, we were on call every 1 in 8 weeks a week at a time.
We were given £110 flat rate for being on call and £35 (+ travel time door to door) to every call out we attended site to, this was deemed as...
I found the pre AM2 very useful, I only took the single day as I was confident on the practical side but unsure on how to fill out a couple of points on the EIC. They also pointed out how to gain easy marks on the EIC (by writing out calculations on the back of it etc) that you wouldn't...
Went through this process last week!
Once a member of Stroma you need to apply for their E-Cert software through their website, they'll send you a copy of a user agreement that needs to be signed and returned to them (faxed, posted or photo image with your signature will do).
They will then...
You've got your qualifications that you've gained to fall back on if you don't like the HVAC - what's the worst that can happen!
Time is very much on your side and I'd imagine you'd easily get snapped up by someone given your age and qualifications even a year down the line you realise you...
I was asked to perform safe isolation on the lighting circuit rather than motor, on the "pre AM2" course I went on they were very specific as to where to measure from - I had to measure at the ceiling rose itself rather than the DB!
Sat my AM2 a month or so ago at SETA (Southampton), with regards to your lighting circuit its shown on the spec I had that you require a neutral at every location.
If you're saying you didn't sleeve the common at the intermediate this is probably the reason for failing.
