They're just big crocodile clips!
NO they aren't very useful if (and I know you shouldn't but we do don't we?) you had to tighten up any connections in a DB even with it switched off, so to brush them off as crocodile clips is a bit churlish imo.

Missed that, where do you think they look like crocodile clips ?
They're quite a useful bit of kit.
Fully plastic pliers? Look like my first pliers :D
Can see the long nose pliers being useful but when I ALWAYS isolate I use long nose pliers alot.
Personally not persuaded to buy a set though, sorry :D

If you're lucky enough to always be able to isolate a complete DB to work on it or never have to go in to an older DB with a lower degree of protection then thats good for you.

Meanwhile in the real world those fully insulated pliers are a very useful tool.

Sarcasm doesn't translate well through text mate.
Vde long noses and a squeeky bum go a long way :D

Update:

Bought myself a fatmax open mouth bag and it's massive. Like double the size of my old one. Makes it look like ive hardly any tools!

A new est wing hammer since my brother has my other. New pad saw since my other is about to break. Nice set of channel lock grips. New scutch and a new pry bar since my old one got bent straight so doesn't do much :D

I do love new toys.

If you know what you want then eBay is your friend!
I don't. All my tool related purchases tend to be impulse buys. Only went to toolststion today for a bag and a new pair of pliers... Got a hammer, level, saw, cable strippers...

Oh and my bag and pliers :D

Looks like I'll have to buy more tools to fill the bag. :D
