Hello, I am looking to get some din rail terminals what I can put a 500 Ohm Resistor in. In the past I have used ones like in the photo attached, I cant seem to find them online now. Can anyone tell me the correct term to find them on RS or any other supplier. Thanks
Look out for safe isolation. Its done to the green book so some of the open book questions are a little dated. Look out for what setting you do your IR testing.
You will be fine. Just take your time and you’ll be fine. 😎
What is everyone's thoughts on double pole rcbo's vs single pole, I mostly use Fuse Box these days with the odd Hager board if i'm feeling flush. I usually use the single pole fuse size rcbos. recently I tried the mini double pole rcbos but for the extra cost I think I will go back to using...
I bought one of amazon in the summer for doing downlights in a house. It was the really generic one sold under the name of lots of brands. Its ok, definitely useful on that job as I could get my layout for the lights and make any changes before drilling any holes.
Hello
Im doing work for a customer who has a few sites they want me to cover. I told them traveling time is at full rate. When talking to someone on site they said I should charge mileage on top of this. What sort of rate do any of you guys and girls charge for this. One site is close to home...
1mm FTW, there is a stupid regulation about not using 1mm for 'power' circuits but you can still use it for lights and fans which seems to come from the bigger is better mentality.
I would take 1 power supply from your db to a motor control panel. Then have the motor overloads in this panel with the contactors. Ideally leaving that design for someone else.
As far as starting and stopping motors the automation engineer should factor this into his control logic.
Its not that complicated. Its just one option. Sometimes its the right option sometimes it isnt. Really depends on a lot of factors that aren’t given in the original post
Arduino or rasp pi and relay board. It wouldn't take long to learn how to code a program to read the state of some switches on one and set the outputs on another board.
