At risk of sounding an idiot..

I went to do a simple job today, change a 5ft tube for an led fitting. Changed the fittings, wired it, powered up and then nothing. The fitting is definitely working. Checked the voltage, was around 110v at the fitting. Check the switch and got 230v. Figured it was the switch so I took that...

    Missing Some Course Modules

Has anyone left a college course without completing all the modules and gone back and completed them? I'm a module short and I have no idea how to get it done, I've contacted the college but they're telling me I need to re-enroll and complete the whole course again. Would appreciate any advice.

New to the forum just wanting advise on a sensor in a bathroom

You need a sparks for this one mate. For what it will cost it's not even worth the hassle of trying to do it yourself. Better off paying and know it's done safely and the right way.

Is there anything else out there?

I'm currently in the finishing stages of my level 2 and starting level 3 in September. I've also got my 17th. I'm attending evening classes at college and the pace of the course is unbelievably slow (starting to see why people opt for the mickey mouse certs). Is there any other short courses...

    Microwave above sink

I can't see an issue, but I wouldn't be happy to leave it like that. Is there no chance of moving it over the draining board at all?

    Wiring a container

I've got 4 containers, each needs a 6ft light and a switch wiring which is no problem. But I'm having trouble working out the best way to gain access to run the cables. These are bare containers used for storage of materials so no wood or anything to actually fix the lights too either. Has...
