    The joint is actually stronger than the wire with that method. When trying to pull it apart (and giving it some beans) the joint stays intact.

    Good old twist and tape. Mighty fine joint. I'll stick to the linesman splice with solder as well though :D

    Hardly if ever. Going to ask soon since I'm going into my forth year in July. I didn't see him do that. Haha looks like he's been caught out. Main supply is coming in soon, the company wants it connecting upto that once it gets put in.

    The rod was on the other side of the cabin wall if it makes you feel better :D literally a 4meter run max. That's going down the wall too :D 1M rod? Wholesalers forgot our spike though so that was fun. :D

    Some say there isn't actually a conducter In there at all :D I tried connecting all the rcbo flexes out then get them all together then connect my circuits but fighting 6mm wires round was just a pain so I'm thinking circuits first then move the flex round the circuit wires and cable tie them...

    Bought some klein cutters whilst they were on sale £47 with a volt pen. Very nice snips. However the pen wasn't mightier than my washing machine. Still a bit pricey for a poor little apprentice like myself and to say they've having monthly sales :(

    Never have I ever!!!!!

    Never have I ever spent 3 hours trying to put up Swedish flat pack furniture and still not finish it at 1 in the morning on a bank holiday Monday. Never have I ever esembled it wrong (a few times) only to realise when it comes to a later step and have to take it all back apart.
