Mini Cooper S ECU Issue (I bet know one can help)

Yes my Audi did run normally. The relay was intermittently working so when It worked the car would run normally with no fault codes. As soon as the power relay failed the car wouldn't start. It would turn over but wouldn't start. As if there was a flat battery. If you scanned the the car it...

Couple of questions just run by my thoughts

Just upgrading the tails as it's a pet hate of mine to see a new shiney consumer unit fitted and the old scruffy tails left in place. I always replace the tails when doing a board swap. I don't have any 16mm DI tails but have 25mm so asking what people's thoughts were as to replacing them with...

TT Ze reading- loop high or loop no trip?

Installing a up front RCBO means that you have lost discrimination in the 2 RCDS and it is pointless having an RCD in the mini DB as the supply circuit is RCD protected. you would be better installing the twin and earth surface or installing an earthed metallic sheathed cable this then does...

TT Ze reading- loop high or loop no trip?

When measuring Ze the measurement should be taken before the RCD on the supply side with the main earth disconnected from the Met in this case directly to the earth rod. with no RCD in line you should test on the high setting as there is no RCD to worry about.
