For me it's the practicality of it. Is there much point of even having a switch (other than a point of connection) if it's in such a position?
Just inside a door of a normal cupboard would be more suitable IMO, although this would be kitchen design dependant.

I vote Prysmian over Doncaster 100%. Always bin the box straight away though.
The croc clips are to hold the cables on the reels you aren't pulling from at the time.
Found an insulated Knipex T bar that a local DNO operative had dropped loading his van. Never saw him again so kept it. Best thing I ever found! We have quite a lot of those isolators up here and quite often the MET on the cutout (or Henley block) can be hex heads.

Removed screw, cut off damaged section, fed other leg through joist and terminated. Wasn't worried about size of hole as was a new build and painter yet to finish but fortunately smoke detector covered it (just!).

Smoke alarm circuit. Tested between each point to locate damaged leg. Narrowed it down to between downstairs bedroom & hall. Noticed when testing that cable had been brought through the ceiling right beside a joist (nothing special there) but on closer...
Only downside for me was due to the size if you aren't careful you'll overfill it and kill yourself trying to carry it! Handy for throwing a drill in or even an MFT on certain jobs. Can't remember if it came with a shoulder strap but fairly certain in could accommodate one.
