What is the best way to wire this bench testing setup?

You'd be as well ordering online for the CU, but see what they have in your local Screwfix. Plugs are only a quid or two. Banana plugs could be picked up in the likes of Maplins if you have one nearby. The flex would probably be best bought online as you only need a few metres. Alternatively you...

What is the best way to wire this bench testing setup?

Hey there's no reason why you can't use it really, you could use it until you're confident enough to use the mains. I'm sure you could sell it for what you bought it for too.

    Best Cordless grinders?

Only sensible option would be to buy the one that's the same brand as your existing cordless tools, as the battery grinders do tend to be pretty heavy on the batteries.

What is the best way to wire this bench testing setup?

Shop around a bit, as it's for a test rig it doesn't have to be anything fancy. Here's a brand new one for £20. Link.

What is the best way to wire this bench testing setup?

I can only imagine the PSU was used as a safety factor but that would be a guess. If you were to go down the wiring into the mains method, you should use a length of flex (1.0mm or 1.5mm 3 core) with plugtop on one end and a stuffing gland into your board at the other.

What is the best way to wire this bench testing setup?

Google "banana plugs" and you should find some that you could easily wire a bit of flex onto. The board could be anything you like, as you said, a small garage consumer unit would be ideal. Make sure you get one with enough ways to cover the amount of circuits you intend on wiring up. If you...

    Sign Writing & Roofrack Recommendations

Another vote for Rhino products, we have the modular stuff, a bit pricier than Tel's option. Also if you are going for a tube for conduit & trunking and don't already have one I would pay the extra for a lined one as it'll stop the stuff you put in it getting scratched.

    What to do with this

OP I suggest the purchase of a multitool or a Fein Multimaster which would of helped with this situation (and many others).

Recommendations for LED Floodlight for garage and garden

They should. We have fitted 1000's of Ansell products and rate them highly. Their Orbio downlights would be worth looking at too if you plan on fitting downlights. If you shop around you'll get them for a little over £15 each and if you register them you'll get a 7 year warranty.

Recommendations for LED Floodlight for garage and garden

Can recommend 30w Ansell Carina. About £30 incl VAT and PIR version is around £36. Around 2000 lumens. They do 10 & 20 watt versions too which would obviously be cheaper.
