Hi, new diy'er with a few questions

Good point Des, although the NICEIC system is slightly different in that the QS is reviewing and counter signing an Electricians all readt completed cert. Definitely not a perfect system though and some QS's never seem to leave the office other than at assessment time!

Hi, new diy'er with a few questions

Cheers Baddegg, I had read about that. Not done any domestic for a few years now and agree, might be a struggle getting someone to sign off other people's stuff. I wouldn't even sign off the stuff of the Electricians who work where I do lol!

    Electrical engineering. HND vs Degree

That's great and it's fine earlier on. Hang fire on courses until you really know which way you want to go. You have 2391 so I guess you have an approved card. You're in a good position already and have enough to get your foot in the door at lots of things. Try some different things before...

Friday Funny from our favourite Handyman..

    Certificate for additional certificate

Just thinking on this . I suppose you could check if the new Cooker can simultaneously be touched together with any extraneous parts. If it is not then technically you have not made the installation any less safe by adding the cooker circuit and bonding is not relevant to the part you have...
