Figure my job out for monday please, i've got to go out on the lash, ta

All you know for certain, from that description, is you have either a fault current or overload condition. Other than that, you are just guessing until you get there.

    Certificate for additional certificate

You would do an EIC as it is a new circuit. You would just put the circuit that you have installed on it. If main protective bonding was required, You would need to ensure it was satisfactory.

Becoming a sparky (with on site experience)

I've got a approved grade gold card and don't have an underpinning knowledge level 3 or AM2. The OP will need AM2 too now though.

    Eicr,oh the joys of sparkies...

I'd have to agree with Ian on this. The circuit does not meet ADS due to very high impedance, however it would require a fault to present an immediate danger. C2 for me.

You would seem ideal for the NVQ3 2356. That would get you a jib gold card. NVQ 2356-99 JIB Mature Candidate Assessment Courses Online - https://xstraining.com/nvq-2356-99-experienced-worker-courses/

    Question about diversity calcs

Most HMO's go gas central heating and indirect unvented cylinder. Put as much on gas as poss to reduce electrical load. From a design current point of view, a 6A lighting allowance would be more than adequate for whole building but would be spread over circuits to reduce the disruption from a...

electric meter issue. The grid, meter or consumer unit issue?

100% is upstream of Meter as already said so it's the DNO issue to resolve. Could be line or neutral but frankly who cares at this stage......call the DNO and report it. Awesome video OP :)

    Wiring Heaters to thermostat.

Dave meant the stat switching into the contactor coil will be in series with the integrated stats in the heaters. I understand what you are suggesting too.....having 2 stats in parallel controlling the coil so that if either closes then it will bring on the heaters (if internal stats are...

Alexa light switch, switch lights up but lights don't work

Amazon have sold loads of these that peeps can't use. They could make more money selling the "old house loop in/out kit" They could charge say....30 quid for some wagos and a metre of singles so they can have it hanging it out of the ceiling light fitting by its wires. That would look mint haha

    Must be feeling better........

I know you are referring to the the DNO 3M max rule. His DP switch will be within 3M of Meter, SWA CCC is ok and he will likely still acheive ADS (will need to verify) protected by cut out fuse. Is there a specific rule prohibiting that and stating you must fuse down?

TT earth cable small and god knows where the rod is

2.5mm min if not buried and protected against corrosion and mechanical damage. You need to locate that earth electrode

    Must be feeling better........

Earth the steel armour of that cable and fit your DP isolator. As you have TN-S arrangement, need to check what is your Ze and what rating the cut out fuse is. Install method of SWA doesn't appear to need a derating applied so can likely avoid fusing down. With yours, You can go up to 0.42...
