    You could try switching off the power at your consumer unit (fuse box, big red switch normally) and then check to see if it still indicates a reverse flow on the meter. If it does I would request a meter change from your supplier.

    You can buy DC-DC converters fairly cheaply which will drop a 12v car battery down to 6V. I would however get some inline fuses fitted to both supplies and always make sure you connect the battery polarity correctly. Example below View...

    Emergency! Help needed - 3-phase meter install

    Am I missing something here ? Where is the live feed to the meter, I can see the neutrals in and out and the live out only. You have a 3 phase cut out but this is supplying 3 single phases so cannot be reassigned for a 3 phase supply. You could be looking at a new 3 phase service being installed...

    4mm cable into the bottom of main switch.

    My pet hate.....Colour Harmonisation! 3 phase meter change...all grey apart from L3 load which was brown....it was grey when it was finished! Strange thing is on CT metering all the CT wires and the sense voltage wires are red!

    What kind of motor is this?

    It’s obviously steam powered, the wire is actually a pipe and there is a self contained boiler in the enclosure at the rear. Neither Fleming’s Left or Right hand rules apply here.

    I went to a commercial property a few years ago to replace the meter and was told it was located above the suspended ceiling. Stepladder out, lifted and moved panel out of the way and peered into the void. Nothing to see.....no cut out, no meter. “You sure it’s up here?” “Yes...look up!” I did...
