As a rough guide cards in job 42k a year , van for works use only , hold pay etc
Or same labour only as limited company 42k , 100 mile a week travel
At the end of business year , with good accountant , in which situation would you be better off money wise
Cabin usually steel , circuit no's 1* LGt 1* ring 2* htg or air con
Majority of power used is heating or cooling 4 kw max , power usually very minimal , couple of pc's and phone chargers
Offices don't take much load it's the canteens , drying rooms and toilets you have to consider loads more
We also hard wire in swa into adaptable box mounted outside cabin back to back with do , done plug and play but sometimes find , inlet and socket filling with water because not got extra weather shield mounted , causing problems
All depends how long site there for if 6 months plus worth hard...
We do a lot of installations like this and use Blakey switch gear as do most big civil/building company's 300ma 100a etc gen set or dno to Blakey mdu 100a 100Ma , most cabins offices etc only need 32 a single phase , where as canteens may need 50a supplies some even 3 phase

Yeh I'm also cards in for last 9 year , never really get work closer than 30mile away and are thinking on similar lines to you , manchester airport would be a good no. To get on when it kicks off
no TU not recognised , seem to follow WRA for a lot of issues , don't get me wrong it hasn't come up yet but know it will very shortly , and just wandering how other companies approach it

some sparks have done course but never used it , know we are in the middle of applying for licence or what ever it is , we are big civil engineering company and usually sub that side out but have decided to keep it in house
