I have a set of 10ft telescopic folding ladders...I am not sure I would want to use them every day, but for occasional use they have been fine...The big positive with them and the reason I bought them, is they store away very compactly....
In the past I have also used a set of folding...
Just a bit of trivia, but heroin and opium used to be legal in this country and was sold over the counter at Chemists. In WW1, it was apparently common for wives/gf's to send heroin as a "tonic" to their loved ones on the front line...
These drugs remained unregulated until around 1930 when...
Just wondering if anybody has any recommendation for metal blades for a Bosch cordless 12V saw?
I know Bosch drill bits are very good so was wondering whether to go with their blades or is there anything better...They will be primarily be used for cutting copper water pipe and maybe 1" steel...
Re the Hob (and the Oven if electric) won't necessarily draw their full current loads even when on max due to them being thermostatically controlled. Same goes for the immersion heater....

They came out and simply jump started it..After a few...
With the cheaper Chinese ebay batteries, many are "recycled" from cells taken from old laptops and when they are re assembled, they do not contain any over charging protection.
Add to that the often crude chargers you get in these cheap deals, and there is a danger of the batteries igniting or...
To add to that, I'll mention the bit about my grandson again...In the event of an accident, I'd much rather an RCD trip at 10mA than nearer 30mA..
I know no system is perfect, but for the small cost of the RCD outlet, I don't think I have anything to loose.
Just had a quick look in the garage...
That's the sort of thing I was thinking of, just for a "belts and braces" approach...Edited to adit looks like they have a stockest local to me as well...
