    So you have left 2 radials on a 32amp MCB? What size cable was it? What range did you have your meter on to get that reading for the IR?

    What do you mean “Voila MCB stays on” what was the IR of the 2 legs once you disconnected the faulty legs you found? What meter did you use to get a IR of 0.52 ohms? Did you leave both legs connected the same OCPd? What size was the OCPD?

    Sounds like the switching could be burning the cathodes out, look at fitting PIRs that dim the lights to a low level rather than switching them off completly.

    just sorting the garage out and got 3 drums of 2 core and earth 1.5 FP200, 2 white and one red. Any one want to make a reasonable offer (or even a unreasonable one) for them? Also got a bag with about 60-70 mixed MCBs and RCBOs, cant be arsed to list them would rather sell them as a whole...

    Constant battle with dryliners....

    I generally find that drilling a few 2mm holes in their pipes when they have done things like that works better. Especially when they arrive and let them know it not a problem I will just drill some more holes.
