    Yes it should work fine, I am assuming that you have a combi boiler as all the hive will do is control your heating. The hive receiver will replace your existing Siemens Wireless thermostat receiver.

    That range of switches is still available, manufactured by GE Power Controls. They are available in 63A, 100A, 200A & 250A and you can fit any permutation in a ‘5 pack’ stack except for the 250A when you can only fit one per ‘5 pack’ stack.

    I would also check what that switch is doing. Don’t like the exposed T&E especially in a kids room, also can’t see if there are any other cable exit holes in that patress. If I was the OP and that switch does not do anything I’d remove whilst the socket is being replaced.
