    Wagos In Aus?

Been using them for a few years now, much more convenient than BPs especially for fine flex wires. BPs just shred the little ones.

    Single phase supply

I guess it's possible that it's been run on 400-415 by pinching two phases from the supply and running a dodgy install. That degree of undervolting would still not be good for the motor but less so than 1/2 rated supply. Edit: Where are you based? I could possibly swing past one day after work...

    Single phase supply

Now you've got me interested, it would be very unusual to have 3-phase and 480V split in the same place. The 480V split phase is obtained from a step-DOWN transformer, from a 12 or 19kV SWER overhead supply line. This is only used in remote areas, if you've got 3P+N coming from town supply, you...

    Single phase supply

Justin we need a photo of the underside of the terminal cover lid, that's where the wiring diagram is often found. If you've ordered a fixed 240V motor and it's a 480V supply then you're out of luck, though there should be 240V around in the shed to run a new supply if needed. Megawatt, it's...

220 Volt single phase Contactor relay controlled by 2 switches

The biggest question for me is what arrangement the two float switches are in. Is there a low level switch to turn the pump on then a high level to turn it off? If that's the case then I'm afraid a single pole contactor will not be enough, you'll need a latching contact.

Draw a start/stop/retain relay control circuit for a 3 phase drill machine

Both e-stop buttons can be placed in series with the stop button, they all serve the purpose of cutting the control circuit and thus stopping the drill. In more advanced machines these emergency stops would be connected to a dedicated Safety Relay or Safety Controller with special functions for...

Draw a start/stop/retain relay control circuit for a 3 phase drill machine

Very neat and tidy, all components in place from what I can see. Can you explain in words how this reversing starter works? That's the next step I would get a student of mine to do to demonstrate their understanding.

    AM2 DOL Motor

If I recall, the 10% was a fudge factor for when things like motor nameplate current, power factor, overload setting and supply voltage were... less than precise. With modern motors, you should set the overload to the FLC of the motor.

    switchboard in Hazardous area

Do not remove the MEN link. Do not do anything except bring in a consultant with EEHA (Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas) certs to assess and advise on this job. If you do any work on HA gear are you willing to lay your license on the line that it's all to standard? Because you will be.

Diversity Factor for 3Ph instantaneous Hot Water in AS3000

Same diversity factor (0.33x), just keep in mind this is for consumer mains/submains max demand calculations, the cable and protection should be sized for the full draw of the heater.

How do you properly drive sleeve anchors?

I would generally use a hammer, but if there is obstruction as you say then look for what I would call a 'strike-through' nut driver with a full tang and metal cap on the back, or perhaps a 3/8 impact nutsetter with a 6" shaft?

Would an earth rod be beneficial

@telectrix Australia uses a TNCS system we call Multiple Earthed Neutral or MEN. @bobbybacklash Yes, the conductive frame of a shed should be earthed. The requirement may not have been in place when it was built, but it would be a good idea. The AS3000 standard says to earth the frame with a...

Power Switch 2 input, 1 output

Hi Jack, what you want is called a changeover switch or single pole double throw switch. Any auto electrical shop could sell you one. It will have three terminals, probably called 1-2-C or NO-NC-COM or similar. You would wire the bass controlled wire to one contact, the straight 12V power to...

    (diy)Do I need a contactor?

No need to concern yourself with that, tanning beds are prohibited in Australia. If we want skin cancer we just step outside.

    adivce on controller electric diagram

Looks like a bit of each Mega, relays and control gear plus a black-box controller, looks like a custom PCB from the manufacturer. The drawing is horrible, wires don't align between sections I almost went nuts trying to follow it. Looks like the Low Limit pulls in a level ok relay then the High...

Looking for contactor that fits in single box

If you're driving a heating load, what about a SSR? RS Pro 25A SSR 90-240Vac control or similar would seem ok and are quite compact to be tucked into a box? NB: I'm not up on any UK regs that would cover or prohibit the use of such industrial gear in a home. You would definitely want upstream...

    (diy)Do I need a contactor?

That is the kind of item I would consider when looking for a small contactor for lighting loads. However, I would never purchase a CHNT anything.

    Do I need a 415v coil contactor?

A contactor is an electrically controlled switch, you will need one for each load you want to control. Power >> switch >> contactor coil Power >> contactor line terminal || contactor load terminal >> lights
