    whats your cooker rated at ? You can diversify diversity, you just need to look at a few things closely, like lighting, is it incandescent or fluorescent ect ....

    from my tutor at college , but since then ive connected generators which have needed readings of 200-250 ohms to be correct for the rcd used , but to my question is it anywhere in the bs 7671 about zE values ? because I were talking to a contractor on site a few days ago and he were quoting regs...

    yes but my question stems from that the dc grounded aerial comes to the back of the radio and ends there. The power supply is 12v class 1 equipment plugged straight into the mains, because in affect theres 2 earths (not bonded) wouldn't there be a rise in potential under fault conditions

    because the dc earthed aerial will be at a different potential to the house ring main (witch the power supply is connected too) so under fault conditions there will be a potential difference at which my dad could receive a shock
