Bloody specific fitting megger test leads!
I've lost 2 of my megger probes now. I have plenty of crocodile clips and the long, thin, bendy probe.
Does anyone know where I can just buy the probes, rather than the full set (which includes Croc clips and bendy probe)?
Happy to pay if anyone has...
I think it's a troll, seeing how many sad people he can get to comment on his silly post.
At the moment I have posted twice which means I am winning in the sad stakes.
I know you've said you've bypassed the RCD's but did you then do the Zs test on the high setting rather than the low setting (used when you don't want the RCD to trip)? I have found that I sometimes get higher ZS readings when tested on a low current setting.

I wired up my first heating system today!
Thanks to all the help in this thread, (and the initial thread) I was completely prepared.
Turned up and the plumber had had to change the heatmiser unit for a different one with a different wiring diagram! Ahhhh.
Luckily, all the time I'd...
Have a thorough read through the thread I've linked below Tony. I had a similar problem to you (ignore the fact I wrote that the RCD was faulty in my first post in the linked thread, I was wrong as I suspect you may be) and this thread helped me to understand why a perfectly good RCD will not...

R = rubber outer sheath.
N = neoprene inner sheath (i.e the insulation directly touching the copper conductor).
-F = flexible cable.
This is the cable that nearly always comes with pond pumps so it must be...
Got my 15 year old son to sit in the van with me.
Literally 15 seconds later he got into the time and date settings and put it all correctly.
I also couldn't work out how to get the sat nav working. I thought it was something to do with a subscription payment for the 'connect nav' thing etc...
I have just bought a new fancy van as the old renault trafic had done 213,000 miles and needed a rest.
The new van is a 1.5L Citroen Berlingo (2022) blue hdi. LWB. It is the driver pro trim.
I am really struggling to understand the vast majority of the controls and it would be good to ask...
98% of the time I would tell the customer they had paid twice and return the money. It's not 100% as nothing is certain. There is a 2% chance it could have been a truly dreadful customer, in which case I would not tell them. I would then plan on giving it to charity as it would feel good...
