    The ONE and only time I did it I had a mate guiding me through it on the phone whilst i did it. Unless you get some very clear step by step help on the forum I would pass on the job to a security company who installs them, otherwise there could be a lot of noise and a lot of cross neighbours.

    Code 2 as well. It could easily be changed for a class 1 light fitting by DIY Dave. Plus, the CPC's are not absent, they are there and not working. I've asked the same question a couple of times (slightly different scenarios) in the past. A common area of confusion.

    I have been asked to look at this report as the customer has been given (in their words) 'A very high quote plus VAT'. It doesn't look well written at all. However, what I cant understand is the very high quote when there is only 1 x C2. My thoughts... 1. Nothing written in 'general condition...

    Ads even within the posts now, cutting off actual whole sentences within the posts. They never seem to go even with Dans tinkering. I love the forum, it's free, I shouldn't be moaning but I can't understand the crazy plethora and randomness of positioning of some of these inane ads...

    They don't sell individual probes Buzz, just the set. I'll wait till tomorrow to see if anyone has some and then spend ÂŁ40 on the set, to get the 2 x probes that I need :-(
