To be fair, most vehicles are written off after even fairly minor collisions these days due to cost of parts and bodywork repairs. But I take your point.
Haven't got one myself, but a friend of mine is in his 4th year of Tesla ownership and loves them. No problems so far, and like you said he charges it overnight at home.

A non-resettable MCB is not really a thing which is in big demand though for standard domestic circuits.
And how would you decide which circuits in a household consumer unit had such an MCB? How do you decide which circuits need to be reset by calling out an electrician, or whatever other...
