I'm on a job where one of the storage heaters isn't heating up. it is a dimplex model FXL18N 2.34kW.
There are two of these heaters in the property but one is not heating up. I've checked & bypassed the supply using peak supply to verify that electricity is getting into the heater...

PFC at the supply, if your getting ERR 4 then your probably find that the earths not connected at the supply and will have to ring up & get em to sort it. I've had a few of them in one area.

yesterday I picked up a makita wall chaser for £125 in a second hand shop, thats a bargan as brand new they're £400! I've yet to get a hoover.
What I tend to do (as I share a hoover & chaser with my boss) is chase the wall then sds with a chisel bit, nothing done by hand apart from the socket...
