    Theres plenty of small oil filled heaters around that can be app controlled - Rointe Belize series. Just buy grills to go over the heaters which screw to the wall and will stop any tampering. BTW I dont think you mean a 16A socket?

    We always fit SWA and dont gland into the side where the knockouts are but underneath! Have seen other companies use PVC/PVC in a bit of Flexi con but it looks w&^%.

    I think its about sussing out the customer - genuine or tyre kicker. I had one last week that wanted a quote on a new supply to agricultural land. Needed it ASAP to try for a crofting grant. I said I wanted paying for my time as it would take several hours. Pointed out I could be doing paid work...

    Efixx did a video or two on these. Might be worth a watch. I buy my insulated ones from CEF and uninsulated from YESSS. Cant say tho, dunno. Stick to one type of insulated- German or French and you’ll be fine.

    Similar to how Ferg described it. It was the limit of the Aico system. Blended mains and battery units. 1 large house the could be split into 2. family live one side in the summer to rent out the other side to tourists.
