    Testing is the only way to answer your question. However it looks like the incoming pipe is plastic before going to copper. If so bonding is not required.

    You cannot grind a CU down as you suggest. You are now the designer if anything should happen. I'd price to do the job properly or not at all. Either way its not the usual (for here) £200 CU swap.

    I tried CPR but it couldn't be revived. As it died in my arms it commented that the wiring was ---- and screamed an 'unsatisfactory' ???

    We keep several sizes of Wiska box on the van in black and white. Earthing nuts, gel, 20 x wago boxes in lite and normal, large Wago boxes and Hager MF boxes etc. Saying that the nearest wholesaler is 1.45 hours away so we cant just 'nip anywhere ?

    We have 3 Megger 1700 MFTs and the Metrel 3155. The Metrel is hands down far superior and makes the Megger feel like a Fisher price MFT

    Have an unused roller tester I can do you a deal on as we use Metrel stuff now. Although if you use Megger their EV tester is supposed to be good

    @MickSmith5824 Yeah, I'd agree with sparky chick. If you are using Fusebox give them a call to see if on side breaks quicker than other. They're replay helpful - I'd even ask them about adding a heating board to their range. They do a massive 20 odd way one or a duplex board so one of those...
