    I only fit white metal saddles now. They are 23p each and there is no reason at all these days to mix and match and I’ve 2 different looking saddles along a run. Love the look of those d line things aswell might have a go at them.

    Always insist on a full EICR before changing a board now. Always book a full day for the EICR and a day for a bird change. So your looking at a minimum of about £700 for me to change a 10 way board for a RCBO board with SPD.

    Typical modern fitting not really designed for 3 plate. Get an electrician in, with a quick wire module he will have that fitted in a hour for you.

    Main Bonding for incoming plastic pipe

    I gave you an answer. Whoever does your EICR will test if it’s extraneous 1601493913 If it’s plastic coming in then it will likely not need bonding, but may if the tests indicate it does.

    Not really, I think the heaters were holding alright, I’ve not looked at the regs to see the time they can handle that sort of current. Bet it was bloody warm though!

    @Pete999 It was the fuse in the spur, they said cause it was cold last week they had 2 x 2kW heaters plugged in and when they set the kettle off it blew the fuse. @Dustydazzler I’ve just gave them a mates number and told them to use him, I’m to busy now to get involved.
