Im just trying to keep my company running at the min, I think I have quite good knowledge of the regs, I havent done any consultancy or that kind of thing, they haven't offered anything particular at the min just they promised me work but a limited amount per year.
Iv been asked if I would like to be a electrical consultant for building control for my local council has anyone had any experience with this is it worth doing?
Do you need to be qualified to do pat testing and apart from the qualification and owning a test kit do you need anything else as i have been approaching a lot of letting companies but none are interested unless you do pat testing as well as general works.
iv dropped 5000 leaflets and got 2 dbs out of it makes me wonder if all those hours delivering leaflets were worth it, Iv also tried a couple of dozen kitchen and building company's with no luck whats happening has everyone stopped getting work done.
Just had a call of a company called ed first that claim to be able to get you work from schools in your local area has anyone used these or know anything about them, is this just another way to waste money on something that you will get no work from.
Im changing some spot lights to fire rated and have found there wired in T+E do i have to change it to heat proof flex or is there a way around it as customer doesn't want any damage to ceiling and there is a tiled floor above.
