    No there's one other that gets approved rate took him a good few years to get them to put him through his testing and inspection. There's a couple of electricians that do little jobs and the rest of the guys are subbies

    I've put a newer keypad in that comes with the 800l which has 8 zones. This couldn't be the problem could it? I thought it was near enough the same but just a newer model

    It's a 700l panel which only has 7 zones but I think it's something to do with the bell box tamper I'm sure when I took the bell box lid off to fit the battery link zone 8 was lit but can't be 100% sure

    I've managed to get a brand new 800l kit with control box key pad etc. I'm going to use the 800l control box for my others half mum and use the new keypad and bell box on her sisters. The bell box is a ag6 I've tried searching the Internet and the chaps already posted it so cannot take a picture...

    No it doesn't mate but on the instructions says it automatically switches between Ac and dc. I have got a multimeter but it's not the best to be honest and unsure if I trust it.

    If I'm honest mate I'd rather put a new pcb in rather than start soldering but just wanted to make sure it was the pcb that's faulty before changing

    Did that mate left and centre came back 1v centre and right came back 0v but 15v coming out the transformer. The picture I posted is the back of the reg, looks like it's burnt out
