    That is the question I would like answered,are there any fire prevention restrictions on a domestic dwelling? If so where are they?i don't want to tell my friend it's going to be a lot bigger job and cost more if it does not have to.

    Replacing is a lot bigger job and more cost. I just need to know is it ok for me to just change the lamps as I did not fit the fittings originally i.e. cut the holes in the ceiling.
