What Was Your Last Tool And What Is Your Next?!?!

When I get a new power tool, generally, I will present it on the coffee table, periodically pick it up and examine it and then re seat in on the coffee table and repeat when necessary. So sad.

    Good drill and driver

If you're local to a TBS builders merchant, you should pop in, they're selling off all their older Makita stock very cheap, my boss picked up an impact driver, charger and battery for £115. They're doing some cracking deals.

    Good drill and driver

I agree with 123, try a few if you can, I wanted Milwaukee but ended up not liking them and tried Makita and really liked it. I now have battery sds, circular saw, multi tool, impact, drill, led light. Love all of them!

    My apprentice tool backack

That hammer haha. Not sure if already mentioned, but I'd get a decent set of cutters, something like CK's cable cutters. Personal preference of course. Good luck! Such a great time being an apprentice, in my opinion anyway.

RCBO on but no power out

Can you swap one with a known working from another way in the CU, to confirm fault with RCBO? My first check would be busbar has clamped corrrectly or cables are properly clamped in terminals but if you haven't had them out at all etc then I suppose the chance of this is slim.

I am going to get my tools stolen

I know this post isn't too recent but I had all of my kit taken earlier this year, our apprentice had all his taken in the same manor. I have since adopted the "take it out" attitude, yes it's a pain, but it gives me massive peace of mind. I have two decent sized Makita bags, one of which has...

    Hello everyone!

Hello people, I'm Will, 26, from Northampton and I'm looking for some advice. I've been working as a "trainee house basher" for quite some time now, circumstances throughout this period have meant college had never started and as a result no qualifications have been gained, just experience. I...
