Hello people,
I'm Will, 26, from Northampton and I'm looking for some advice.
I've been working as a "trainee house basher" for quite some time now, circumstances throughout this period have meant college had never started and as a result no qualifications have been gained, just experience.
I was chucked in at the deep end from the get go and have learnt from what I would say was a great teacher. I feel like what I've learnt was too a high standard and I'm competent in carrying it out.
However without the qualifications this is all useless, the firm I was working for ended up scaling down and I was part of that scale down unfortunately.
The advice I'm after, is where to go next? I want to get qualified as I've worked hard and learnt so much, spent so much on tools etc. I don't want to give it all up. What would be the best plan of attack, can I get the qualifications I need if I was to do a part time college course? Or would I have to go for a full time course? Or would an apprentaship be the only way?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to learning and reading more on the forum!
