    I would have thought you would get away with a 10m HDMI lead. Running a cat 6 along side is a good idea and will also future proof to an extent.

    Cat 5/6 works with hdmi extender sets e.g Source > hdmi lead > hdmi extender transmitter > cat 5/6 > hdmi receiver > hdmi > tv you may need a socket at each end to power them unless you get one with PoE. I've used Wyrestorm and hd anywhere in the past. Both good brands

    Nothing wrong in theory. Why not take heat and smoke from the ceiling rose? it'd mean one less wire chased in and in the switch. I have a rule of thumb where i use 35mm boxes when theres more than 4 or more cables. I also sometimes sink a deeper box if i expect a dimmer to be added.

    What he said^ Very quick and easy, stroma also allow you to download the Ecert software if you are a member. It takes a a few goes to get your head round but it's free and does the job.
