Seen as they provided a plug there will be no wiring info on manual I suppose.I know, right?!? But is it illegal for them to have supplied one without standard colours it is a UK supplier providing a product with a 3 pin plug....
Exactly. It's so frustrating when I imagine most of these need to be cut off for installation.Seen as they provided a plug there will be no wiring info on manual I suppose.
Makes you wonder how many other appliances have similar colours with a sealed plug.Exactly. It's so frustrating when I imagine most of these need to be cut off for installation.
Ooooh. Now that would've been a good idea...even though I did cut it right at the plug...but instead I decided to shear off the top of the plug to look inside but that was hopeless (couldn't see anything and destroyed everything in the process ). Silly move on my part!!would never have known it was non standard colours until the plug was cut off.
Can you continuity test between the cut-off plug and the remaining wires still attached to it, or did you cut it so close, theres no flex left to strip?

In fact that's not just a good idea, that's an effin' brilliant idea and now I'm furious with myself for not thinking of it before I mangled the plugOoooh.
