The most convenient location for the unit is adjacent to the CU with immersion circuit wired through it, there is also a sensor which needs to be clipped around the tails. I have just fitted one today where the Immersun replaced an existing timer and controls used to bring in the immersion...
Yes, the Immersion was installed on Monday. Installation is straightforward provided time is taken to read the manual first. I’m very impressed and so is my customer, he mentioned that the boiler is hardly running at all and water is always hot.
Thank you for the detailed review Brian. I have just taken delivery of our first Immersun which will be installed on Monday, and have already taken orders for another two from previous PV customers.
As requested on a thread on the open forum, the trade price of the Immersun is £295 RRP is £365.
I have attached wiring diagrams for both Single and dual immersion heaters.
We will be installing the Immersun unit for a customer in the next few weeks, have a look at their website for more info: immerSUN :: Use 100% generated free electricity :: A 4eco Product
Have you tried logging on as an installer? As far as I know the user login has read only access only and cannot make changes to the configuration of the inverter.
I wish I knew that earlier Earthstore, we lost a job purely because we couldn't get hold of these panels. What really galled me was that the other company were proposing to use a garage supply spurred off a household ring main for the system.
You can't get Sunpower unless you are a partner which entails either >£1m turnover or a £50k bond, we lost a job a few weeks ago where the customer wanted Sunpower.
As babba says, the Romag black panels are good looking. Otherwise try to sell the performance benefits of black SolarWorlds, these...
Six hours and counting for one registered this morning. With the number of recent registrations at £15 a pop you would think Gemserve would be able to invest in a faster server!
Just register them, the certificates will come through in a few hours. The information on the certificate can be amended by clicking on it after it has been issued.
We have installed quite a few landscape systems with vertical mounted rails on 300-400mm spaced rafters and always managed to mount the panels within the manufacturers specified mounting positions. A cruciform mounting system is more expensive, takes longer to install and doesn't look so neat.
Hilti are stating delivery date after 12/12 on all orders. The lack of mounting kit is so frustrating, we can get modules and inverters but nothing to fix them to.
Your customers can purchase an insurance to back your warranty on the installation for up to five years. This is through the QANW insurance provided by REAL.
The third dial needs to be set from 2-F, position 1 only allows communication between inverters.
You will struggle to communicate with the inverter using OSX as the SMA software is not compatible. Use a Windows machine and make sure you are within 10m of the inverter.
I don't see anything about an announcement related to PV tomorrow, they are talking about announcing plans for wind power which would take effect in 2015.
I have logged out, then in again and can't see any threads.
