When we went on holidays I would turn off the boiler at the FCU on return would turn it back on to find there was no supply
it had blown the fuse in the PCB this happened a few times, this was a Baxi 105 not sure if I was turning it back on when it
was calling for heat that might have pushed it...
Just been called by a customer who has had their meter changed by Scottish Power, the operative would
not switch the supply back on saying that the consumer unit needed to be checked by a qualified electrician and
then sealed off the isolator with wire and crimp.

The problem is as I have encountered is if you do a cert for a customer and get paid they then present it to the letting agent who refuses to accept it because you are not on the list, you have an angry customer who cant let his house until he gets a cert from someone on the list..
