    The point of the Licence fee and beeb is to provide a media outlet that free from any political interference. Not going to comment on whether that's actually the reality, but that is why we have a Lience fee rather than BBC funded though general taxation or adverts.

    12v socket ,leisure battery

    I find there can be some variation on the builds of 12v outlets in cars and sometimes Espically with cheaper ones it can be hit or miss on how well they contact. Those 12v outlet are bit naff to begin with as they where never really designed for power distribution personally I would replace them...

    Grenfell tower electrical "expert"

    A tower block in Leeds recently had major flat fire. Flat was gutted fire didn't spread because it hadn't been covered in plastic. Most likely becuase the surrounding area was full of yuppies who don't like looking at ugly coucil blocks and wanted a cheap way of cover them up.
