Nice one then mate that's basically exactly what I've done, ripped out all the old and wired new. The Heatlink is in the garage next to the wiring ctr newly fitted, the boiler there too and the Htg valve is an old Sunvic / Satchwell there too as the flow leaves the boiler horizontally on pipe...
While you're on a roll mate ! Can you have a little check over a change I'm trying to achieve with an old boiler to a nest stat and it's the job where I may or may not need to use a set of RF Mainslink.
I went today and because it was a horrible mess all jumbled into a single old pattress box...
Lee Sir you are a legend mate, I ordered one, well 2 sets and got the offer code one discounted and VAT off too and both sent today to Channel Islands for £104 ! A beer is owed buddy :-) Thanks, Matt.
Hey all,
I have a heating system to play around with as it's been not working very well, heating non stop until house was like a sauna etc.. and guy wants to fit a nest that he bought. He's a bit keen on going all smart home so I'm thinking of going to do a Loxone course.
Problem so far is that...

Hey I had a callout referred by a lad working for me yesterday where one of the old dimplex CXL I think it is storage heater with an on peak convector heater built in had a fault and took out the property supply.
He had attended the call and said that the B16 Hager at the board had not tripped...
Yep going to use the existing conduit and unfortunately can't get another singles cpc down the conduits so going to use conduit plus earth off back of the solid back boxes to accessories too and make sure well low enough.
It's all ancient black enamel conduit but no cpc's separate just using tube as earthing to old steel board and plug in mcbs just singles to each outlet.
Hey all, I have a decent client wanting to change all fittings and accessories in a large house to something like Schneider Ultimate screwless flat plate in polished chrome and has existing halogen white open ring old style downlights, in your opinions would you go mains GU10 into new open...
Hey all, I have a flat rewire for a regular and upon cutting ceiling we have found that old stramit straw covered in cement stuff quite deep before the concrete again, anyone got any advice / ideas on method to attach slip tube to run cables in before skim again ? I can't think of much...
Yes mate, I did read that and the reg which is another quite flouncy sentence :D and in my mind is taken as add an isolation switch to switch the appliances conveniently rather than one switch to shut off 3 different appliances for instance. Either way thanks for input from all ;) I'm nearly off...
