    Thanks for the quick response. If I can’t fit the wires into the new pendant can I use connector blocks and 3 core wire to extend them?

    Hello I’m looking to replace my ceiling rose with a pendant light. The ceiling rose has 2 red wires 2 black wires and 2 earth wires (photo attached) Am I ok to put the wires straight into the pendant connection block(2nd photo attached) Thank you

    Yes will ensure i turn off the electric supply to the upstairs lights from the main fuse box. ta

    The 35w lamp did work for a period of time before they all stopped working. Not been working for over a month now so def cooled down :-) I will try replacing the transformer first and hope that works. Thanks for the help.

    Thanks for all the responses, much appreciated. Could these lights have a separate switch fuse? the main fuse for the upstairs lights is ok.

    I did change the 30w bulb for a 20w one after the lights failed. Still doesn't work. Would this transformer be ok to try replace it with (attached)?
