UK RCD Tripping on Zs Test?

Nothing wrong with calculating ,i recently had trouble with my kewtech tripping eaton rcbo, the manufacturer told me how to turn off the pre test function which fixed the problem. The tester works by putting current down the cpc ,never tested a fusebox make db with main (RCD) Residual Current...

Break in ring circuit

I can't imagine where 2 brown wires would be in an (RCD) Residual Current Device,maybe you mean mcb or rcbo? If it's wired as 2 radials there will be a socket with only 1 cable there would most likely be 2 of these. If 20 amps is enough for you no need to do anything

Extending Immersion wiring

I have had extended consumer units smoke from choc block connectors,moved to crimps after that,now only use wago or similar, why would you not?

6mm T&E on 40 amp mcb

they usually feed a 8 or 8.5KW shower which is fine as long as the cable dont go though some hidden insulation for too far

while doing EICRs i often find this combination, if its clipped direct it dont worry me however many times i have no idea how the cable is routed im just wondering how others would code this?

many thanks for the replies i assume if it has a plastic pipe or insert it not considered an extraneous-conductive-part and is just a piece of metal?

we are allowed to omit supplementary bonding on the 3 conditions (rcd, disconnection times and main bonding adequate ) if we have a plastic insert we may omit main bonding on water for example. would supplementary bonding have to be added as it no longer has main bonding ?
