    My parents appear to have a twin and earth cable connecting the main switch to the CCU, it has two earths both of stranded copper, but twisted together separately. I think the Lines are 10mm2. Anyone seen this before?

    socket ring wired in 3 core and earth - seems to be 2.5mm in old colors - the third core is blocked at each end. do sockets have to be in 2 core and earth or not? As the ring is being extended is this all going to be have to taken out.
