    Downlighter max amount on one circuit.

    Was looking a a job today in a kitchen, the customer had 12 gu10 50w 240v mains downlighters off one switch, 6amp mcb to 1.5cm T&E. Then had a thought ,yes it does happen? 12 lights x 50watts = 600 ______ = 2.608 amps 230 v She has asked for 12 more gu10 50w 240v which will take it to 1200w...

    calculating amount of lighting needed?

    hey guys, i need to floodlight a practice green at my dads golf course, just need a bit of advice on how much lighting will be needed! the area is about 2000m2 and obviously needs to be fairly bright, the lights will be elevated on poles. i was thinking maybe 6 x 500w metal-halide fittings...

    Max load on 850watt dimmer

    ? trying to work out max load on 800watt dimmer with 50watt low voltage down lights have to calculate the load by the amount of 60va transformers instead of the lamp watts not sure how to convert the amount of 60va transformers into max watts for the dimmer
