Called out yesterday morning client has 2 x Wylex Boards with MCB's each has a 63Amp, 100Ma RCCB as the main switch on a TT System.
Board 'A' is the main 24hr feed for the house, Sockets., Lights etc 8 circuits
Board 'B' is the economy 7 night storage heaters. feeding 7 circuits...

Hello there, just had a triple light switch fitted but the order of the switches is wrong. The left and centre switches need to be swapped. Can someone please tell me how do I do this?

Have a washing machine blowing the fuse , so tested socket all ok.
then notice have short between L&N on plug top, so take off top of machine and disconnect out going of mains capacitor , and it still shorting .
Is that me found my fault , don't want to order part

Is there an option to turn off the audible sound when a test is carried out or if the tester is applied to a live circuit on the wrong setting?
I just received a megger 1553 and can't get any audible sound to work.

I understand that when carrying out RCD testing an RCD should trip within 300ms at 1x and 40ms at 5x but is it common that on occasions for the RCD to trip quicker at 1x than 5x. I never had it occur personally.
I am just looking at some old certs and on some circuits the RCD is tripping...

but they seem to be blowing straight away! Within the first day 6 have blown, whilst tripping the MCB!
