any body know where i can get the tool to release the cable from them spring loaded push fitting things on ballasts... currently using a small terminal type device and a paper clip..!

and also according to this spec

Had a look at a job earlier which is to replace 9 6ft twin fluorescent fittings in a small warehouse.

weve fitted in excess of 200 catII twin fittings.
3 of them are making a horrendous buzzing, ive checked all connections at the light and on the circuit but to no avail.
apart from changing the ballast does anyone have any advice please?

My name is KevBaldry and I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if this has been asked before.
As a qualified electrician, if I change a ballast in a luminaire am I required to fill in a minor works certificate. Is this situation any different to swapping the luminaire?
