First of all, I would like to apologize for creating an account solely to ask my question. I honestly don't know where else to turn to find out this information; I've exhaused every google search and the knowledge of people around me. I'm hoping someone won't mind helping me with this.
I live...
I recall biff55 really rating his that he got off ebay, fair play.
I got one years ago, seemed fine for a while, but then it wouldn't make loop measurements, kept coming up with the 'Noise' symbol and take an eternity to give a reading, if at all, which was basically a random number.
I've got a...

Im having 10 solar panels installed with a rating of 195kwp each What size lithium battery's do I require for storage I live in a 2 bedroom bungalow and a low use of power The bigest item being the washing machine and the useual tele pc and lights Also Is it difficult to connect to the inverter
I must be confused about some wording,
Light circuit R1+R2 is 1.84 Ze measured = 0.28
So if I do Ze +(R1+R2) I get 2.06
Maximum Zs allowed is 6.14
actual measured Zs is 0.88
This measured Zs is much lower than the max value, I know higher is not good but lower Zs leads to any problems ??
my other p-touch standard labeller has finally given up the ghost and i was looking of upgrading to the PT - 7500VP electricians label printer, looks really good, is it worth the ££, anyone got one, or one of the others?
This might not be the right place to ask really... but here goes.
As I understand it, vented car batteries give off hydrogen when charging, and a nasty acid mist. I.e. DO NOT CHARGE INDOORS!
Looking at what's currently available, I see items labelled as "maintenance-free", which I understand...

We have nothing booked in at the moment, so using the time to research off grid inverters as I have been talking to someone who wants to be 100% self sufficient for all energy consumption.
Has anyone planned anything like this before and can you offer any advice on how to scope out such a project??
Hi all!
Wondering if anyone can save us from our smoke alarm nightmare? We have a mains ionising smoke alarm, I'm not sure what the manufacturer or model is as there seems to be no branding on the alarm. The issue is that the alarm is intermittenly beeping, and intermitently means once an hour...
