Can anyone recommend a good socket adaptor for doing r1+r2 readings etc? I bought a kewtech one but it doesn't work with my megger 1720 leads unless you wiggle them about and even then it's unreliable!

Hi all, well after passing my 2391 I'm looking at buying a Megger MFT 1720 or 1730. I can't decided which one to get.
I like the idea of downloading results with the 1730 but is it really worth the extra money or should I just go for the 1720.

Yo folks, bought a Metrel 3125 off the bay (wont be doing that again) and it has no charger or rechargable batteries. Does anyone else run there MFT's off third party rechargables? Does it normally come with a battery pack or standard AA size batteries?
