    I know I'm stupid but give me a break

    Just run a switched 1 amp spur for a light off a kitchen ring. Load goes to a wall switch and back to a socket for a plug in led driver. Testing it out I get 38v/50 hz at the socket. Why? what's happening guys? Could this be apparent voltage on the neutral and the live isn't working...
