    right im not hooked up with commrcial work but got a first attempt at it today. customer pretty clued up what he wants as been factory manager for decades and installed removed loads of equipment in his time, any how requires 1x 3P 63a Supply terminated in a 3 phase switch isolator...

    Earth Fault Impedence

    Can anyone please explain what is the maximum earth fault loop impedance permitted for moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB)? Also, BS 7671 says a disconnection time of 5 sec is allowed for breakers in distribution circuits. What is the difference between a distribution circuit and final circuit?

    Rcbo

    I work in commercial and industrial mainly and tend to use the same old same old. I came across an rcbo today that has no earth fly lead, how long have these been about then and what is the BSEN on them are they 61009 or what? Cheers A bit behind with the times

    Wylex Breakers - What's the problem

    They have all disappeared on a recall. But Wylex wont say what the problem is. Nor will they allow you to take back one you have brought. Anyone know more? Martin

    Earth-Leakage breakers??

    Hello everyone, Just wondering is an Earth leakage circuit breaker exactly the same as an RCD? The reason I ask is that I heard someone mention once that Earth leakage circuit breakers do not work very well. Maybe I heard wrong?
