    has anyone done this, got a customer who wants a t8 batten in one with a sandblasted glass cover, will be double boarded inside it then fitting and wiring on to then blasted cover to conceal, but will it need venting for heat etc, any opinions gratefull, can show drawings too

    Running cables through cavity walls.

    What's the cencus on this, to get cables to another floor. Cables obviously need to be fixed, I'm cant see how they could be running through the cavity unless I'm missing something? Also there is the problem of cables being de-rated if cavity insulation is added.
