Hi Guys,
Working in shops and offices.
Company is insisting using 110v tools and where possible, battery equipment.
I would have thought that 230v + 30mA RCd would be more than safe.
Believe that the 17th edition relaxed the rules on 110v tools (55-0-55)
Your thoughts gents please.

BGB (section 704) states that plug sockets on a construction site if over 16A must be commando type.
Thats the only mention of sockets I can find, can I assume that 1363 sockets can be used in a temporary office area (probably a porter-cabin) that is generally waterproof etc?
Thanks.
heard on the radio tonight, the government is to invest 30billion in the construction industry to help stimulate the economy.
Is it me or does that seem rather at odds with shagging the PV industry?
I have a job where the roof is prefabricated with king span sanwiched between two sheets of 8mm ply, the structual survey has approved it for the weight, trouble is the 8mm ply is not very thick, with a bit of wind the brackets would just pull out of the ply, Any suggestions on the fixings...

Hi all,
Does PV qualify under the Construction Industry Scheme? We use self employed labour one or two days a week to help with installs and having to do their tax for them sounds way over the top to me! Atm they invoice us as any other supplier does...
Hi, we have a job coming up, the roof construction from the outside in is as follows.
Double pantile, felt, 40x35wide timber(approx), 50mm kingspan then 200x35mm trusses.
We were thinking of using 160mmx6 stainless woodscrews so we can get through the kingspan in to the trusses for a sound...

Should the this reading be...
