    Shower isolation?

    Boiler isolator, under boiler on above cupboard

    On a boiler that is boxed in (kitchen units), should the isolator be below (i.e tiled around), or can it be above the boiler on the kitchen unit. Both would be accessable, although not as convenient! Should the isolator be switched, or fused only (i.e remove fuse to isolate)
